The company that I get my material from has come out with a new foam, and with some of my products I have switched to using it.
This new foam is much softer and much more compressible. This being the case, it makes some the multiplying props MUCH easier to work with. It also allows some of the props to be more like sponge props and easily compressed in your hand.

Bananas, Pickles, Fish, Weenies, and the other larger foam props are now being made with the new foam.
Cigars and Markers, the skinnier props, are still being made with the original foam, just because they need it.
But with the new foam, it’s a great improvement.
